Find your hosting company. Register your domain name.
- Hosting companies often offer hosting packages for your web site needs.
- Domain registration can usually be done via your host company.

You assist the design process by gathering information for your web site:
- Who will visit your web site? Develop general descriptions of the visitors to your site.
- What should your web site say? Determine your web site content based on site visitor profiles.
- What style or look should your web site have? Choose descriptive words of your web site's visual appearance.
